IMIDC (Rainbow Network Limited) rents Brazilian IP addresses sourced from LACNIC (NIC.br) and local networks such as Vivo, Claro and TIM. Customers can choose Brazil datacenter IPs, Brazil native IPs, Brazil static residential (home broadband) IPs and Brazil ISP IPs. IMIDC provides Brazilian IPs through partners. Datacenter and native IP blocks start at a /24 (256 addresses) and scale up to a /16, while residential and ISP IPs are available individually or in bulk. Drawing on its experience as a RIPE NCC, APNIC, ARIN and AFRINIC member, IMIDC helps configure WHOIS, rDNS and Geofeed. The IPs can be used on your own network or with IMIDC servers.
Brazil is Latin America's largest e-commerce market, and its platform landscape differs from both Southeast Asia and the West:
A recurring complaint in seller communities is that logging into seller centers from abroad keeps triggering verification or requests for more documents. Public discussion generally holds that Mercado Livre and similar platforms are more sensitive to datacenter IPs and non-local traffic, and that keeping one clean, fixed IP per account reduces checks caused by IP switching. A genuine Brazilian IP keeps your environment consistent with local users. However, no network setup can fix rule-breaking such as linked multi-accounting or fake orders.
| IP type | Source | How platforms see it | Features | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Brazil datacenter IP | Brazilian datacenter ranges | Datacenter network | /24–/16, BGP and ASN support, rDNS/PTR | Websites, site networks, APIs, high concurrency |
| Brazil native IP | Registered in Brazil, geolocation matches | Local Brazilian IP | Clean WHOIS records | Account management, local content, local business |
| Brazil ISP IP | Assigned and announced by a local carrier | Residential | High stability, low latency | Live streaming, always-on, high bandwidth |
| Brazil static residential IP | Brazilian home broadband ranges | Household user | Long-term fixed, lower risk score | Store and social account isolation |
| Brazil home broadband IP | Same as above (common name) | Household user | Same | Same |
Rule of thumb: residential IPs for stores and accounts, ISP IPs for live streaming, datacenter IPs for websites and data collection, native IPs when you need a Brazilian identity.
Give each store its own fixed Brazilian residential or native IP so every seller center runs in a separate environment instead of sharing one exit. Keep the IP unchanged once assigned. Before opening multiple stores, check each platform's multi-store policy and keep business documents and payout accounts separate too.
Fixed Brazilian IPs are also recommended for Amazon Brazil and Magalu seller logins. For your own website, use Brazilian datacenter IPs to test local access and confirm that Portuguese pages, BRL prices and payment options display correctly for Brazilian visitors.
Use one fixed residential IP per brand or customer-service account. For TikTok or Kwai live selling and long streaming sessions, choose ISP IPs for better stability.
Plan Brazilian datacenter or native IP blocks so each site gets its own IP and is not affected by neighbors in the same range. Review Google and Facebook ads, landing pages and local rankings from a Brazilian viewpoint.
To collect public prices and Portuguese-language data from Mercado Livre, Shopee BR and other sites for competitor analysis and AI training, /24 datacenter blocks are the most economical. Add residential IPs for strict targets. Respect site terms and Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD).
Brazil native or residential IPs pass regional checks more reliably, which makes them useful for testing local content and regional experiences. Platform policies change, so test before you rely on it.
Datacenter IPs come from Brazilian datacenter ranges. They are cheaper and plentiful, which suits websites and site networks. Brazil native IPs are registered and geolocated in Brazil and recognized as local, which makes them better for account management and local business.
A fixed Brazilian residential (home broadband) IP is usually the best choice, with one IP per store kept long term. For live streaming or always-on sessions, choose a Brazil ISP IP.
Use residential IPs for e-commerce and social accounts, since they carry the lowest risk score. Choose ISP IPs for live streaming, always-on sessions and high-bandwidth workloads.
Datacenter and native IPs start at a /24 (256 addresses) and can grow to /23, /22 and up to /16. Residential and ISP IPs are available individually or in bulk.

To sell in Brazil, your network environment should match local users and your IP source should hold up to scrutiny. Tell IMIDC your platforms, IP type and quantity to get a tailored plan:
