Since 2 August 2021, all IMIDC customers must complete identity verification before purchasing or managing services. This helps us protect accounts, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet compliance requirements.
Where to Verify
Log in to the client area and click Identity Verification in the left menu, or the Verify now button at the top of the dashboard.
Option 1: Online ID Verification (all customers, mainland China and overseas)
Follow the on-screen steps to photograph or upload a valid government-issued ID (ID card, passport, etc.) and complete the verification checks. Everything is done online — no documents need to be mailed.
Option 2: Alipay / WeChat (recommended for individual users in mainland China)
Individual users in mainland China are recommended to verify by scanning the QR code with Alipay or WeChat, which is the fastest option.
