IMIDC cloud servers in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan use China-optimized CN2 routes. This premium bandwidth is costly and is shared fairly among all customers on the same network.
What Is Not Permitted
- Running VPN, proxy or similar traffic-relay services for third parties
- Saturating your bandwidth continuously over long periods
Such use degrades network quality for other customers and frequently causes IP addresses to be blocked, which affects everyone sharing the same address ranges. It is therefore prohibited on these services.
Enforcement
When abnormal usage is detected, IMIDC may limit the speed of the service. In serious cases, the service may be suspended or terminated without prior notice.
Policy Reference
Please review the IMIDC Terms of Service, which include our acceptable use rules. If you are unsure whether your use case is allowed, please open a ticket before deployment and our team will advise you.
